No audio with screen recording?

For some reason, when i use screen recording to record a song that’s playing on my phone, the audio stops. I’ve held down the icon and turned “microphone audio” on and off, turned my phone on and off, and even did “reset all settings”.

Any other tricks i can try?

I don't think screen recording allows you to record songs like that.

I don't think screen recording allows you to record songs like that.

It used to until this new update. It still works for Spotify though, you just don't hear the audio while the screen recording is taking place, but it does play back after.
