No Battery Life Indicator In Yosemite?

Is there a battery life indicator in Yosemite? If so, where is it?

It was unchecked by default, unlike every other version of OS X that I've ever had (over the last 7 years).

For a moment I thought that Apple had got rid of it, or had put it somewhere else for some crazy reason! Panic over.

Not the same issue but along those lines, has anyone else noticed that after the update on a macbook the light on the power cord shows green even when the battery is not fully charged?

Mavericks used to say I needed to replace my battery. Yosemite no longer tells me that. I wonder what is true?

I'd say trust Yosemite. Mavericks was a buggy mess.

I just returned from the Apple store. They tested my MacBook and sure enough the battery was ready to fail. So I replaced it. Cost me $130.

So I updated to Yosemite few days ago, my name, the clock and battery indicator no longer appear in the status bar! Any ideas?
