No birthday notification in iOS 10

I was notified yesterday and the day before for birthdays.

Notifications. Actually I'm not receiving any reminders . They show up on today view but I'm not notified at the time I said to be reminded.
[doublepost=1474467726][/doublepost]So the expected behavior would be that I would receive a notification for a reminder that I set a specific time for and then it should also be in notification Center – this is how is behaved in the iOS 9 and earlier but for some reason it is not behaving this way in ios10

Timed reminders seem to be working fine for me.

Timed reminders seem to be working fine for me.

I just tried creating another timed reminder. Same thing, did not receive any notification. It does show in today view, but I am not notified at the designated time.

Odd, I have mine show up on the lock screen and in the Notification Center (as a Notification).
