Thanks, I have been watching eBay for a 2011 2.7 model but brand new for under $500 was to good to pass up. I just ordered an Asus PA248Q to go with it.

The Marine Base Commissary in my area had a $100 off any Mac under $1k and 25% off all accessories Black Friday sale. So I got the Mini for $489 and the Keyboard for $35 and no sales tax. I meant the 2.5Ghz mini not the 2.3.

I was about to say... 2.3 Mini wit keyboard for $525? Where you shoppin?

The 2.5 makes a little more sense, but still that's a great deal. :)

The mini is the best home computer ever, and the quads match all other macs on performance for little money. There is absolutely no need to drop prices without competition and such high resale/second hand values.

I got the same deal on my mac mini at the Exchange in 29 Palms - there was a sale for the grand opening of the Apple kiosk. Got the base mac mini for $489, tax free!

If you have a Best Buy near you, the mini is selling for $539 and $739 respectively. Haven't seen it in their ads, but if you go online you will see pricing. Just picked one up in Union City, CA
