Partial Bluetooth functioning on 2008 Mac Pro.
No Bluetooth devices discoverable.

Logitech MX Master 25 mouse.
Mouse has a bluetooth plugin module that has been tested into various USB ports.
Movement and clicking works but the scroll wheel does not. After plugging module into a USB port it takes a second to connect, then scrolling works for about 3 seconds then no longer after that.

Have tried
• Shift+Option on Bluetooth symbol in menu bar to reach Debug and Reset Bluetooth Module and Remove All Devices
• Reboot computer
• Plug module unto different USB ports
• Opened Logitech software to reset to default, Add Bluetooth Device does not see the mouse

No Bluetooth devices found in the Bluetooth settings window.
Logitech works partially but does not appear in the window pane as a Bluetooth device
Wireless keyboards or wireless Apple mice cannot be found

Mac Pro 2008
MP 3,1
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680
Mojave installed with patcher

Rebooted to El Capitan and discovered scrolling DOES work in this OS.
However Bluetooth devices still cannot be discovered in the Preferences window.

El Capitan: Logitech mouse works, movement, clicking, scroll wheel
Mojave: mouse movement and click, no scrolling
device does not show up in either Bluetooth preference window on either OS

I'll ask a dumb question - are you sure your mouse is bluetooth? Logitec mice frequently have a RF dongle not bluetooth.

What does your system report show for bluetooth?

Not a dumb question, but it did make me feel dumb presuming without verifying again. I set it up years ago and didn't give it a second thought and presumed it was. It has a receiver that should be directly plugged into the computer and not a hub. Although its worked for me in El Capitan fine from a hub. Once I moved over to Mojave the scroll wheel stopped working.

The device however does not show up in the Bluetooth preference pane as illustrated in their support page.
