I posted this in "Mac Basics and Help," but have not received any replies, so decided to post here since my computer is a Macbook.

Any ideas?

That's interesting. Which language your used? I found there will be strange when some language is used as the defualt language.

This has been known to happen. I have seen a several posts on this already.

Solutions range from Software, to bad BT chip. Personally I think it's just software.

What MB (your pretty vague there) and was OS?

My wife's MB running leopard has had the bluetooth icon poof on her and was fixed with a reboot.

Macbook 2.16 / OS X

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I have already tried resetting the PRAM and NVRAM. I have also removed the battery for ten minutes and reinstalled it. None of the suggestions in the old threads worked for me.

The computer is telling me bluetooth is hidden because I have no bluetooth devices connected. How could I possibly connect a wireless mouse?
