No Bluetooth

Good Day All-

I've read multiple posts about the Bluetooth issue on a older iMac and I cant seem to resolve my issue.

I have a iMac that doesn't show the Bluetooth module at all. I restored the iMac to factory setting and still doesn't help. Additionally I am using a wired keyboard and mouse and the system is freezing up, lagging and then goes back to normal. Keeps cycling through this lag issue.

Can anyone suggest what else I can do to resolve this matter?

Have you tried resetting the bluetooth. Probably a long shot, but:
- Shift-Option while clicking on the BT icon in the menu bar
- Debug - [various options]

Maybe it needs a new Bluetooth card. They do fail.

Reset SMC and NVRAM. I have found reports of this happening and reseting SMC and NVRAM has fixed it for some people.
