Hi, I'm running macOS Sonoma (14.5) in VMware Fusion (11.5) on a Mac Pro 5,1 using OpenCore LP (I know, strange setup), however no audio is detected by the guest OS despite having VMware tools installed and AppleALC setup in the EFI. I'm new to macOS and need the Built-In Audio Output in order to get apps like XCode to play media so I can listen to it remotely, is there any way I can either get the default VMware card working or fake an audio output?
Thanks in Advance!

looks like your missing a driver. Mac uses core audio as their driver but since you used opencore the drivers may not install.
Go to Applications > Utilities and double-click on Activity Monitor to open it. In the search bar, type 'coreaudiod' to locate the Core Audio controller. Click coreaudiod, then click 'X' in the toolbar to quit it. coreaudiod will restart.
