Recently purchased Macbook air M4 and connected to my Lightroom CC acount. Everything works fine accept there is no Denoise feature. Is this feature not enabled on the lightroom 8.4 for OS?

It's there in my LR CC, which is the current version: 14.4. Denoise only works with raw files, so the feature will be disabled for JPEG, HEIC, TIFF, ProRaw, or sRaw files.

Interesting, when you say enabled do you mean it has a box to check or just a slider? The reason I ask is I have a noise reduction slider, but not a Denoise box and the slider does nothing no matter where i put it!

Both jpg and raw files have a checkbox, but it is disabled with a warning icon for the jpg file. I am using the locally installed Lightroom CC. The web version did not have a denoise button.

I'm getting the impression im going to have to purchase another subscription in order to use on my Macbook.

Are you using an Intel Mac? I believe the AI features like Denoise only work on Apple Silicon Macs.

A single subscription can be activated on 2 computers simultaneously, or you can install on more than 2 computers and just deactivate the extra one each time you need to run on a different computer.
