This seems like an easy software fix; an add-on to the phone settings. Surprised this isn't just getting done.

They should update that asap.
People tend to get carried away when travelling to Mexico :D

It seems if it does not generate money for Apple- they are not interested... Since they get a cut of your monthly bill- they would like it if you ran up a big one on a trip south of the border...

Yes but how many people actually travel outside of the country with an iphone that much. And the few that do and get a huge bill they dispute it and they make sure they never make that mistake again :D

If I were to travel internationally I wouldn't necessarily want to take the iPhone in fear of losing it, would maybe take a spare (can get one at wally world for $17.)

What if you lived in Detrot, MI and traveled over the bridge into Canada every day to go to work? There are LOTS of people that travel internationally every day for work.

Again, this is me, and your needs may vary. I would have to take my living/working conditions into consideration when purchasing and using a product.

I also believe I used "wouldn't necessarily" take it, as I can not know every circumstance for which this might come up. I also don't live in Detroit, nor work in Canada, so its not a problem that I have to deal with. If this is something you have to deal with I am sorry that you feel I disrespected your issues, I did not in any way say that they should not add the ability to turn in off, in fact I would welcome it so I could turn it off when I know I am in a wifi spot as the iPhone sometimes seems to fall back to edge and I have to nudge it back to wifi.

Again I am sorry by not realizing that someone would take my comments in a way other then the way I intended. Hopefully I clarified things a little better.
