Hey, question for the group. I’ve been using outlook 365 on my xs max, I can change all email sounds , incoming and outgoing with no issues. And I use the outlook ap. The mail ap has been deleted along time now.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, and I get a 12 pro max, update all my info of course still using the outlook ap and now I have no sounds for my mail. Go to sounds and haptics and there are no choices for my email. ??
Call apple support and they can’t help. Send me to the apple store and they tell me it’s only available if I use the mail ap? Well since when? So the Genius Bar dude downloads the Mail ap again, and there are all My sounds and haptics options for email. But I can’t use them. I try and set up the mail ap with my outlook, and it won’t take my user name or password. What gives ?
Anyone know of a fix? The Genius Bar dude blamed my it dept. Saying it’s our email and we have to authenticate my phone, well we don’t use that type of technology. So it’s not our issue, to me it’s an apple issue ?
