Bit of an interesting shortcoming revealed in iOS Today’s iPad Pro review. When connecting headphones via a USB-C adapter, Facetime will not route the audio through them - instead it comes through the internal speakers. With no headphone jack, that means the only way to FaceTime semi-privately is via Airpods/wireless headphones.

Hope they fix this with an update. Presumably this affects other apps, too, though. I wonder if Skype, Hangouts etc are affected. See 1:35 below.

 
I remember Facetime don't work AT ALL with ethernet mode in the previous devices... * had to install Skype or Telegram for that. Even if I disable Airplane mode it won't work, if wi-fi is disabled manually.

* Haven't tested in the new iPADs, and don't need because it's iOS fault.

Facetime = s.hit

I filed a bug report months ago and Apple never replied. I suggest using any other app besides this one.
