No flashlight after doing the latest update

grrr, damn flashlight won't work after doing the latest update. The icon is a dull grey and doesn't register when trying to switch it on. Anyone else have this problem? Is there perhaps a solution?

Have you tried any troubleshooting? Does the flash work when using the camera? What about some third party flashlight app? Have you tried restarting the device? Resetting some (or perhaps all) settings?

Try rebooting. Hold down the power + home button until you see the apple logo.

Tried with the camera and it worked, let me try the reboot, 2 secs

No worries. I've heard of this exact issue happening in the past and usually a reboot did the trick. Glad it worked here also.
