Hi there,

I'm running a 2021 MBP with an m1 Pro and 16 gigs of ram. My monitor is Samsung LS34A650U (3440 x 1440 / 100hz) and supports usbc, dp and hdmi. When I attach my Monitor directly over usbc to my MB all the usb and ethernet ports on the Monitor work but the refresh rate is fixed at 60 hz. Using an usb-c to dp 1.4 cable gives me the full refresh rate but no port support. Same with an hdmi to usb adapter. Is there any option to have full port support and 100hz refresh rate over one cable?

thanks in advance,

greetings Nils

I have finally figured it out. The issue was with my monitors data priority. Changing the usb-c priority from data-transfer to high-resolution did the trick. Hope this helps somebody :)
