No hard drive in the new mini book? Hmm

I know we have all heard rumors about a ultra portable laptop coming out, but I just heard from the computer show happening this week that these new ultra portable mini laptops are not going to have a hard drive but memory chips that will act like a hard drive, just like the iPod Nanos. Not sure if this is new news or old news. Just wanted to mention it.

64gb SSD drives. just think that we'll have 1tb ssd drives in probably 5 years. speed and storage... can't wait

Old news and understood - less moving parts to have a HD crash...smaller storage for a premium - gotta love technology...keep moving forward.
