no iCloud email in Outlook

It seems I can't get outlook to work with iCloud.

works with my work accounts, but not my iCloud account.

anyone else have this?

You probably need to create an app password for your iCloud account and use that when signing into the account via outlook

i use iCloud in outlook and this is how I set it up

Sign in to apps with your Apple Account using app-specific passwords - Apple Support

App-specific passwords allow you to securely use your Apple Account to sign in to apps made by developers other than Apple.

I should have mentioned that it stopped working....

that said, magically started working again last night....
