Can't really tell you why there were no icons but I will recommend that you use the official 1.1.3 upgrade via installer instead of what is outlined in those instructions. Basically, once you get to step 8, go to installer and install the 1.1.3 update. If you are an AT&T customer, say no when it asks about patching lockdownd. Also, I saw some comments there about problems with some files linked on that page. You should read those and make sure you avoid those problems.

I used this guide: http://nawafx.com/page4/page4.html

...and altered it after step 11 to upgrade to 1.1.3 the official way.

ok, i am trying again.

i did basically what u said, but im gonna try again.. will post when i know whats up.

UPDATE: i did it the manual way, and it works like a charm. thanks
