No installer on 2.0, Cydia instead

Will the insatller be available soon or are we stuck with Cydia?

Installer may be available in the future, that's up to Nullriver. However at initial glance it seems unlikely, there's no need for 2 package managers and there's no need for backwards compatibility with Installer. Cydia will most likely be the new primary package manager; more stuff will be available as application authors get their wares ported to iPhone OS 2.0.
