This should probably be posted in the news forum but I cant post there so its going here
"Intel processors will be initially adopted in Apple Computer’s entry-level Macintosh PC lineup, including the Mac Mini, iBook, and iMac series, with a launch in Taiwan slated for June 6 2006, according to sources at Taiwan PC distributors."

hmm... we'll there have been official announcments (well, by important people other than jobs/apple) who say there is going to be some VERY exciting stuff in january, maybe not intel stuff (I do honestly expect intel something though) but stuff worth waiting for (fingers crossed for widescreen 12" pBook)

You shouldn't feel sorry about buying a PowerMac regardless. Number one, they're amazing machines, and number two, Intel-based PowerMacs won't be released until 2007, so you have plenty of time to enjoy your PPC PowerMac. :cool:

As I've stated in other threads, Apple already has new displays -they're using them in the new 20" iMacs already - so it's just a matter of when they plan on updating the display line. My guess is sooner rather than later!

Jobs aint going to the Expo in January to talk about pods, he will be showing off something..............The Power-MacMini! Intel inside and a videochip better then a 9200. Ill take one please.:)
