I tried to update my iPad Pro 10.5 inch to iPadOS. It keeps telling me that my current OS, iOS 12.4, is up to date. I called Apple. They said it hasn’t rolled out to the entire U.S. yet and to wait a week or so. I told them I’ve been in the Apple ecosystem for decades and don’t recall having to wait a week or two for an OS. Anyone else having this issue?

Try an iTunes restore.
Not an iTunes restore. I believe that will wipe the data. An iTunes update will work though.

This will require manually downloading the IPSW file for the 10.5" Pro, and then OPTION-clicking the "Check for Update" button in iTunes.

Always make backups!

Telling you the real Beta test is 2 weeks after public release.
Since iPad OS released I’ve never seen so many apps Updating in the App Store.

I’m happy on iOS 12 for at least 2 more weeks.

By the way nice question where do I see if there is any update available for the apps that I have installed ?

Updates normally roll out at 10am PST. My wife's 10.5 pro showed the update almost immediately.

OP, did you get it figured out?

Why do you even have to call Apple? Just connect your iPad to iTunes and manually check for update.
OTAs are usually rolled out gradually, although Apple tend to roll out their updates at quite a fast rate so most people don't feel it's gradual. Heck, my iPhone on 12.4.1 never got any OTA notification. I checked manually, and it requested 13.1 right away.

Open the App Store app, click on your user icon in the upper right corner. Swipe down on the screen that pops up to refresh the updates available. Click on Update All or individually on each app you want to update at that time.

No could not find it ? Where exactly ? Can you post a screenshot of the path, that would be quick to understand.
