I hear that some wireless Rogers people were grumbling about the lack of 3G at one of their meetings when they were asked when the iPhone would come to Canada.

I don’t think 3G alone would stop it from coming to Canada as there are other issues Rogers may not be interested in solving – like outrages data pricing. Apple seems to negotiate data pricing when dealing with wireless providers and Rogers has no reason to reduce their rates since there is no competition. There may also be something set up between RIM and Rogers that may prevent them form brining it to Canada. Crack berries are being advertised by Rogers like nothing I have ever seen before.
