Not a big deal, but since most posts are negative on forums, this one is positive.

I was holding out for the white iP4, but since it's been delayed, I went out and got a 32GB Black iP4 last night.

I have no issues at all. No antenna, screen, camera, flash, home button, prox sensor, etc.

If you want the build/week number let me know how to find it out and i'll share.

are you being honest? Is that a security risk to me if I do or are you being legit?

The request is legit, there's no security risk. The first 5 of your hardware serial number only indicate the plant where the Apple product was made, the year of manufacture and the week number of that year in which the product was made.

Everything AFTER the last 5 digits begins to get unique to your specific iPhone. But even then, AFAIK there would be no real security risk, since your phone's network or data access has nothing to do with the serial number. At best, the hardware serial number relates to warranty work. Still, I'd avoid giving out anything after those first 5 digits.

Your IMEI on the other hand, is a different story altogether. Avoid giving that out under any circumstances.

I'd be curious to know.... I'm gonna be giving in shortly to buy the black, too.

He is being honest.

Mine is 88023. The 23 is the week. The rest has to do with the model, I think (edit: or not). Everything else is the unique part.

Mine, by the way, does not seem to have the proximity sensor issue. If anything, mine is too sensitive. I can create the antenna issue if I hold the phone wrong :)

The first 30 I've seen as well, but no, not a hardware fix. He's just experiencing what most do, no issues. I have a 26 with no issues.

Thats why I added the rolling eyes and wink :)

I have a week 25 with the antenna issues, but I have a case and i avoid the spot when I have the case off. No issue for me either lol.

not trying to high jack this thread of the OP mine is 87021. Mine drops maybe 1-2 sometime 3 bars from a full barss, no screen, camera, flash, home button, prox sensor issues.

Just wondering anybody else have issues from 21 week build?

Week 30 here as well and no problems so far! :) Proximity sensor works as promised, I can get 1 or 2 bars to drop with a death grip, but so far no dropped calls and screen is perfect!!

I have a lot of issues, just none with my phone. It's quite amazing actually and I can't seem to put it down.

are there other folks who got a week 30 phone with problems? i wonder if week 30 would be the batch with fewest/no units with issues?

I'm in the exact same situation. I scrambled and found one on Friday when I found out the white wasn't going to be available. I have NO antenna issues or any other issues for that matter!

I've had a week 22 and a week 28. Completely different screens (week 28 was much warmer... week 22 was much more blue).

Other than that they both had the same issues with reception, camera, bluetooth, and proximity. I actually sent the replacement back and kept the old one. I am holding out for another few weeks and hoping I get one that works better.
