Can somebody explain this? On what looks like a very good android device I’ve heard it won’t be available. I think for those who wanted note 7 surely this would have been a great replacement.

Yep same here. In fact here it is

no Note 7, no Moto Z, no LG V20, no Pixel / XL

:(

But given the RRP they are asking for the V20 in USA, I suspect it would be priced so high it would likely not sell in enough quantities for carriers to even get behind it.

Only thing to do is keep an eye on importers however the V10 which also never launched here, never came with LTE Band 20 (800mhz) meaning it was useless here if imported too.

LG are strange, and I'm sure are kicking themselves for not taking proper advantage of the Note 7 debacle.

Down here in South Africa, LG Mobile SA told me the V20 will get here later this year, no exact date or even month. Their social media has some old looking LG Stylus phone with a really badly done banner.

To me in the UK decisions like this makes it harder and harder for people to go against buying iphones if they aren’t careful. More so with the issues with the note 7. Many will see Iphone as the only dependable option.
