Hi ;)



I'm trying to use "live text" recognition with the camera of my iPad pro but I can't do it…
I can't see the 4 yellow corners that should normally surround the target text nor the small yellow square at the bottom.

(I did select "live text" in "languages" in the iPad settings)


Strangely it works with the pictures in my photo album...


Could someone advise me?

Hey there!
Have you confirmed that Live Text is enabled for the camera in camera settings?

Go to Settings > Camera > Live Text and make sure it’s on.

That’s very strange..
Live Text does support French according to Apple themselves.

Unfortunately I don’t have an iPad Pro that’s got an A12 chip to see if the setting appears on my iPad.

Here’s how it appears on my iPhone 13 Pro
Max. Could you possibly change the language to English and restart the device and see if the option appears?
