Being from Denmark, the characters æ, ø and å are a natural part of conversation, and getting around using them in text and e-mail messages would be a bit of a chore.

I've tried looking for a setting to enable them with, but to no further avail.

What's the deal?

Well, on the iPod Touch, all I have to do to get an æ or å is to hold the a-key down for a couple seconds. For ø, I have to hold the o-key down. Maybe the iPhone works the same way.

Ah, there we go. I had already tried it, but maybe I didn't wait long enough for it to show up.

Thanks!
