No Lyrics Display on iPad!

After the iOS update on my iPad, the music player no longer will display embedded lyrics in the player window when tapped. I cannot find any setting that turns this on again. Please someone tell me that I'm missing an option somewhere!!

And if this is in fact gone, can someone tell me if it's also gone on the iPhone?

found the same issue. really annoying. but it does seem to work on the iphone 4 running iOS5. no idea why it doesnt on the iPad

Wow - This is TERRIBLE!! I worked really hard to get all the lyrics to my 12,000+ songs and now I can't even DISPLAY them on my iPad! I sure hope this is a bug and not a permanent feature.

Can someone else CONFIRM that embeded lyrics still work on the iPhone after iOS5?

Does anyone know of any iPad "music player" apps that will display EMBEDDED lyrics that are saved in a song file?

Does Apple even allow other music players in the app store?

What the hell? Major eff up on Apple's part, whether it's intentional or a mistake it's a huge blunder.

And the rest of the app is a disaster as well, so hard to read anything (with so much wasted space), "pile of cover art" view is garbage.

Are there any other music player apps for iPad that can handle things like smart playlists and song ratings? Unless they fix it fast I'd probably even consider jailbreaking for the first time just to not have to use this turd.
