I can't seem to find a direct comparison between the OLD white core2duo 20" iMac and the New 20" imac.

Both models have 1gb of ram, same hd space, same screen, but different processors and different video cards. I have been pulling my hair out trying to find something that has a direct comparison with some benchmarks!

Can anyone help me out here?!

the white iMac can only recognize up to 3GB of ram while the alu Imac can take up to 4GB (maybe even 8GB because it ha has been tested to work on MBP's).

also I'm pretty sure the white iMacs are 32 bit while the Alu iMacs are 64 bit.

If they are like the mini then the C2D machine has a 32 bit memory controller, so can't see past the 4GB barrier (3.3GB usable). But the CPU does do 64 bit instructions and such.
