What will be the network or iphone's response when someone sends YOU a MMS?
Error message
kicked back to sender
text only with "unsupported attachment" message?

it will be sent to your mobile email address (10digit#)@mobile.att.net

actually i dont know but dont worry you should be able to receive it. i feel strong that you can see it in your mobile #'s email

that's a very interesting question. i was kinda hoping that the SMS part will just somehow accept those attachments and insert them into the conversation...On my WM6 Blackjack, theres not a separate section for MMS, it just comes in on the SMS folder. Or maybe this idea has already been debunked? I dunno...

Everytime I have sent MMS messages to a phone that DOESNT support MMS, they simply do notreceive the message. I assume the iphone is the same.

In Yurrup you get an SMS with a URL to the carrier's website to view it.
I've seen this same behavior on Cingular phones before. You'd get an SMS that references a page on viewmymessage.com or some site like that.

The freakin free phones you can get with any phone plan from any company can do MMS, why does this $600 greatestelectronicsdeviceofalltime not do it????

Thats a damn good point, the Sidekick 3 couldnt do mms either. The dumbass www.viewyourpic.com site was slow and pain to use. I dont understand the reasoning why they would not include it... Dont get me wrong the iPhone looks awesome but for $600 bucks i kinda expect it.
