Canada EH!!!
OK ... I currently have 6 macs (Home, Office and Lab) and each have current Apple Protection plans. I also have been paying for the .Mac (now MobileMe) service for about 3 years.

I am having issues syncing my email rules across my computers (since MobileMe began). I have tried various ways of fixing my problem but nothing seems to work. So, I call Apple Support and she tells me that there is no telephone support for MobileMe :eek::eek::eek::eek: !!!

What a joke!!!

Thanks for nothing Apple!! :mad::mad:

I have never understood this either. Apple says that Apple Care coveres you machines and Apple software that runs on the machine.... well, except .MAC.... I wonder why? :confused:

.Mac is not software, it's a service. Having MM preferences installed on your system is only a gateway to the service. Apple is talking about preinstalled applications and hardware that are covered under Applecare.

They even cover my Airport Extreme support with Apple Care. Agreed its as a service and not really machine software. You do pay for it, so they should provide support for the product in the same manor as anything else.

AOL, MSN, even Yahoo paid email provide phone support.

Double billing

Have just been billed twice for .me

Went onto the chat. No joy. They can only see one charge in their account. Tell me to contact my bank.

No phone number or mailing address. Is that legal?

Just recently had this same issue. Were you able to get it fixed? They told me the same thing and my credit card company has to speak to a live person from MobileMe in order to release the charge.

I am actually with them on chat right now. My subscription renewed using CC, before I could enter a code that I bought in retail. They have no way to cancel the charges, have to do a whole close and reopen the account business.

It is just odd how they do things. I kept looking for a support number before I realized there was none. :rolleyes:

There IS NOW MM phone support but not widely advertised... Just go thru the express lane and you will be presented with a choice to chat or talk. I did it a few days ago.

I used it too via Express Lane. They were very nice and answered all my questions. My guess is that this is a "soft rollout" to see how much/little they can handle. Chat is fine for most of the issues people have ("how to" and "doesn't work") but phone is always necessary at least as a backup.
