Well there is still lots to fix and refine, and betas are still introducing new bugs - the iCloud Photos checkbox bug in the latest update for instance.

More betas to come, surely.

Did you receive an e-mail from Apple?
If you look below his avatar, you'd see that dogslobber is saying they're an apple insider. (of course, if they are, they're risking their job by saying so and posting opinions here...something most Apple employees are intelligent enough to not do), but it takes all kinds to make the world go round.

Great analyses, made my day! :D

Did Apple announce a special Mac event for October???
They've said that they're doing massive updates on the MacBook this year (the OLED keyboard, etc).
I really don't see them having the time at today's event to do the Watch, the iPhones and the updated Mac's.

Peeps in the Mac threads have been talking about an Apple event in October. Hell, maybe it'll be November. :)

They are probably just going to quickly go over it before the iPhone 7 in today's event.

1) Financials
2) MBP Refresh (all they have to cover is the addition of the OLED bar) oh and we have 3 USB-C ports on it now (joke).
3) iPhone 7, brand new design, our engineers discovered that if you get rid of the headphone jack, we could do so much more to the device.
4) One more thing... AW2.
5) Music

They desperately need to update the entire line. If they don't have that in the works this year their market share's only going to continue to dwindle.

I doubt that their market share will dwindle, people buying the MBP does not move the stock needle as much as their iPhone line up. The only time I've ever seen Apple stock jump from the Mac lineup is when IBM purchased 200,000 of them a while back over the course of a year. It takes a lot of volume to move that needle, and iPhone does it for them.

nah.....

Thats what 10.12.1, 10.12.2, 10.12.3, etc, etc, etc, are for!
A bug on the magnitude of the iCloud pane not functioning, which in turn confuses the optimise storage system (because it thinks you're not using iCloud Photo Library) is definitely a GM showstopper, especially when it was fine in previous betas.
