I've installed Lion GM, and I've noticed that the lights under the dock appear by default (this is on a new partition too).
I can't seem to find the option to disable them and such too, so I'm wondering if Apple has had a change of heart perhaps in regards to this? This is in major contrast to DP4, which had them disabled upon install.
Oh and I find Lion performance on my Macbook Pro 13" 2009 with the nVidia 9400m is still atrocious. Launchpad lags like hell, and in general the interface just doesn't feel as responsive as it does on Snow Leopard.
I'd be frustrated if Apple just leaves the 9400m Macbooks to rot in the sun, as it works so beautifully in Snow Leopard
EDIT: All these observations were made after spotlight finished indexing.
