Up until yesterday I could swipe up in Hulu and get a floating screen of the video while I was using other apps, as it has been for several padOS versions. But no more. Swiping up in Hulu now closes the app entirely rather than leaving the video still playing. Anyone else?

I’m surprised this entire thread is only 2 total replies. Maybe that few people actually use it, but for me personally this is pretty infuriating. PiP worked fine on every single beta and then on GM launch Hulu updates their app to specifically block the ability to do so?! I can understand YouTube blocking PiP to try and force users to purchase the premium service - it’s the typical Apple v Google game - but I already pay $70+/mo for Hulu + Live TV with every goddamn add on possible. What could Hulu possibly gain by specifically adding code to block system level features? Waiting for the email telling me for only $1.99/mo they will re-enable the ability to do this on iPhones. Insanity.
