No more refurbed/refreshed Macs at retail stores?

Called my retail Apple store here in Tampa, Fl and they said they don't carry any refurbished or 'refreshed' Macs, its only online now. Is that true with all the stores or just some select ones? Bummer if so, that was a good way to get a deal on Macs.

i wasn't aware that actual apple stores carried refurbs... just check the refurbs section of the apple store online and they certainly will have more refurb models to choose from. also, it's free shipping, so you're not loosing out on anything.

They only sell refurbished iPods at the retail stores.

I remember when they had the refurb tables in the retails stores. I haven't seen one for quite a while now.

They were never very clean, but there were some good deals to be found. (It sure prompted my impulse buying a few times.)
