No more syncing iOS devices?

I did a brief search and didn't see anything, so here I am...

I just got a new MBP16 and am now on Catalina (I was on Mojave on my old 2013 MBP).. and it looks like they managed to screw up iTunes even more. How is that even possible? Anyway... yeah, so is it no longer possible to sync/manage an iOS device from it? If not, how do you do it?
