I've been playing around with my two devices, an iPod touch, and an iPad 2. I have signed up for iTunes Match, have done all the syncing with iCloud, and everything is working perfectly. However, once I download a song, or album from the cloud, listen to it, and then delete it from the device, either one (touch or pad), in iTunes, the device (touch or pad) still shows the songs under, "music".
This is just a quirk, I'm sure, but still not sure why. It doesn't cause any problems with either of my devices. I can still download/re-download from the cloud, then delete when finished, and end up with no music on the device. But, the list of music in respective iTunes device grows. It's acting more like a history of music I've had on each device, even though the device is empty of music.
Curious.
