No new wallpapers for iOS 10 GM?!

Me too. The most disappointing thing today!
Not a major thing but they always used to mark new point releases with new wallpapers. It's just LAZY!

I guess a lot of people use their own and only us geeks care. iOS 9 was kind of proof they stopped caring as much since they were the worst set of wallpapers to date.
Bummer. I liked the green wave one and still use it but I was hoping to see a few more from them. They have some weird bubble ones on the 7 and 7 plus. i guess we can assume those are for some reason exclusive to the new iPhone's lol. Probably wiggles or whatever with 3D Touch
And the black and white architecture on the software section. Presumably that'll be the new iOS 10 wallpaper.
I was hoping to see more 3DTouch wallpapers... Oh well.

COOL! I didn't see that. I'm not going to hold my breath tho, because it wouldn't be the first time that they've used wallpapers for the website shots without ever releasing those wallpapers to the public. I guess we'll have to wait and see until a week from Friday.
Disappointing! I'm loving the old purple mountain/sky as a home screen and green waterfall (iOS 10) as a lock screen - but man, oversight? Apple wallpapers are one of their 'things'! Maybe they are trying to shift people to create their own using the new camera(s).

Yeah I quit worrying about Apple-included wallpapers a long time ago; there never were many that I really liked.
The iOS 9/10 wallpapers (besides the touch-enabled ones) are pure crap.
Still, being that Apple is all about the interface, we expect better from it.

Not unless the Final Release is a different build than the GM, which is very unlikely. Maybe saving them for 10.1
I HIGHLY doubt it. This is GM - and is exactly what is being slapped on those new 7/7+ hardware.
I dont think that new wallpapers are on the way next week in the final. On all demo devices yesterday was the green wave picture so I dont think apple will include a new default wallpaper in ios 10. but to be honest, this was the first I was checking after installing ios 10 gm 
Yes, but sometimes stock ones are among the best, even though they're simple. They're iconic, and they are specially made for the UI of their device. I cycle through many wallpapers on my devices but often come back to some favourite stock ones.
