iPhone SE (2016) No one can hear me on calls on my iPhone SE

I have an iPhone SE about 3 months old. For the past one week, I can hear people perfectly well on calls but people can't hear me. Siri works and FaceTime audio also works but my voice come really faint. People can hear me when I put the phone on the speaker and when I use my earphones. So, there's definitely nothing wrong with my network.

I can't take my phone for servicing and I'd be great if anyone knows what could be an issue.

It's defective and most likely needs new hardware. If you can't take for service to get fixed then you might be out of luck. Restart, then restore if that doesn't work. If neither works then sorry for your loss.

Perhaps its intermittent issues with the microphone. Fortunately that's what warranties are for a replacement device.

I've decided to take it to service because having a phone that doesn't work is really inconvenient.

Also, I was wondering if they replace my device will I get a new device or a refurbished one? I don't want a refurbished device because I wouldn't know how old the refurbished device might have been.

It depends on how long you owned it for! I think the cut off is anything over a month time; you get a refurbished model!

I took my phone for service. Turns out there was some dust stuck in the mic. After cleaning it with a soft brush, it started working again.

I live in a place where there isn't mush cell reception. I'm still able to make calls though. Anyway, I just feel there something wrong. If suddenly there are zero bars on my phone, then if I'm on a call it should drop. But I get a Call Failure error on my phone and instead of no service, I get nothing just some blank space instead of the bars.
Is this normal behaviour?

It has been my experience they replace it with a white box refurbished model but they are usually like new with a warranty.
