No password prompt when connecting to Ethernet network

Hi,

New proud owner of a 2012 MBA with 10.8
Problem is that Im trying to connect to my schools internet.
It should be like this: https://techarticles.uark.edu/network/network_access_mac/
I never get asked for the password, but it says Im connected. Since theres no password I cant get into the Internet.
On my old 10.7 MB there was a password prompt and everything works fine. Has anyone experienced this?

Sorry I didnt make myself clear. Im not at that school, so I cant contact ResNet. My school does not provide support for Mac.
I just know that it should be like that
