iPhone's have no specific image resolution settings?
I take a ton of pics as a business owner at trade shows to just remind me of products, people, etc.
Not trying to print out 40" photos of every image, Apple.
That with the no micro SD slot makes me really hate the iphone.
It blows me away there is not outrage in the community that everyone is stuck saving billions of pixels when 99% of images are never going to be viewed larger than 2MP or 4MP. So everyone is stuck buying needless extra storage, oh I get it:rolleyes: Am I missing something?
I guess as an engineer I cannot be trusted to set my picture resolution properly and
Apple has to protect themselves from me posting terrible photos of my vacation and blaming them?
I came back to iphone because I saw they started allowing user control of resolution a couple of years ago but now
I see nothing.
I'm considering the 12 mini or 13mini because I like small phones.
Do any iphone's allow adjusting res?
Is there an excellent App that allows you to PRESET resolution without losing any of the great camera quality/features and not take extra time to deploy i.e. seamless? Wonder why is this not more of an issue for people, there are no YT videos talking about it.
My way around this is to take screen shots from the camera app but it's tricky to hold the phone still and be in focus.
-I know there are ways to adjust after taking pics, but don't have that kind of time on my hands. Thanks!

You cannot preset to any other resolution than default, only post process them to a desired size, exempli gratia with Image Size.
If it is paramount to preset resolution to an arbitrary size, then you should buy an Android.

There are iOS apps that will crunch a normal big photo down to less than a MB and still look great on screen — and will batch process your whole day’s worth of photos automatically. (And discard the originals if you want)

Photos taken with my iPhone 13 mini are any size between 1MB and 5MB., so let's say 3MB average. So even if you have just 10GB of free space, you would still have enough for around 3000 photos.
How big is your photo library and how many photos have you in it?

Ok, good point. I just know my SE is getting full way too fast every time and it's a nuisance. The image size is actually the same 12 MP and looks like you're right, most of them are 1 to 2.5 MB.
