No Photos Option in Desktop Preference Pane

I recently upgraded from Mojave to Catalina (10.15.7) on both my 2014 MacBook Pro and my 2017 iMac.

Under Mojave I had, and also on the newly updated MacBook Pro I have the option to use
pictures from my Photos album as desktop pictures.

That option does not appear on my iMac.

How can I get it on my iMac as well?
