I asked in the troubleshooting forums but got no response so I'll try here where people are a little more hackerish.

I don't have a push settings menu on my 3G, 3.0/JB. I've been installing push apps, most of which I don't even want, and ran them all and said yes when they asked about notifications. I did get one pushed news story from AP News today, but I still don't have the options under settings. Any ideas what could be wrong?

there is no push menu under settings, under settings there is Notifications which lets u change the settings on different push apps

When I downloaded the update to Beejive I didnt see any settings either until I started the app. Once you start it, it asks you if you want to enable Push Notifications and then then these settings appear in the settings menu.

Yeah I read the first post. Did you? I'm showing him where the setting should be. He may have overlooked it.

If you think I'm wrong, why don't you help the guy instead of trying to be a smart ass.

Mine still says "Fetch New Data" and has the old options. I've tested AIM and get push notifications with it, as well as AP News.

delete AP or AIM, then re-download. when you launch the app, a pop up will ask you it wants to use to push notifications.

if that doesnt work, download tap tap revenge and do the same thing.

once you go into settings, that setting should be there then.

I already did all that. I installed at least 5 push apps and selected "yes" on every app when asked. I deleted and reinstalled a couple. I haven't tested all of them but I do get notifications from AP and AIM. But still no options under settings.

Thanks anyway. I'm probably going to reinstall everything over the weekend.
