Today Spotify announced that they have dropped the 10,000 limit. You can now save an unlimited number of albums to your account. For me (and undoubtedly others) the limit was the only thing compelling me to also subscribe to Apple Music despite its abysmal recommendations, focus on crap etc. compared to Spotify discovery. See you later Apple Music...

I actually switched back to Apple Music because I use my Apple Watch a lot and Spotify still does not support offline playing. In addition, Spotify's way of adding your own music to your library is broken. It almost never works properly. At least with Apple Music, I can sync my playlists to my watch for offline playing and add my own music right into my library to use on any other mobile device/application including my Sonos speakers.

Yeah the recommendations on AM Aren't as good as on Spotify, that I can agree with. But as long as AM has the bigger library of the music I listen to, I'm staying. Plus I have a big problem with the creators of Spotify and that weighs in as well.

I much preferred the music recommendations on Spotify and loved how it would have a list of other similar songs at the bottom of every one of my playlists. Not sure why Apple hasn't done the same thing. That said, I'm too into the integration right now between various devices to move back to Spotify. If they eventually allow offline playing on the Apple Watch and make adding your own songs much easier, I may reconsider.

On a separate note, I'm not sure why Apple hasn't offered bundle discounting for all their services as a competitive advantage. We subscribe to Apple TV+, Apple Music, iCloud Storage (first tier plan). If they offered an all-inclusive price for all their services including Apple News, I bet you they would see a pretty significant uptick in subscribers.

Windows computers and Android phones are cheaper so why don't you just drop Apple entirely ?
