Somewhere Back In The Long Ago
I was looking at Macs on the refurb section on http://store.apple.com/uk/ a week ago and there must have been 20 MacBook Pros. Today, nothing. Not one Mac. What happened there?

That's how it works, especially with rumours of the refresh abundant, if what you want is there then buy it, it will be quickly gone. Apple refurbs are a great way of saving money. Next time the spec you want appears jump on it...:)

I wouldn't read anything into it because there are currently no refurbs at all on the UK store.

This happens every now and then, just keep checking because they'll be back soon.

It just seemed odd for there to be nothing. Last week every model, bar the mini was represented. Having looked again, the iPad and iPod sections are empty as well.

First, it changes all the time. Second, it changes definitely depending on the time when you look. I suspect all refurbs are removed after midnight. It's also possible that someone adds new stock every morning, and when it's sold, it's sold. Apple obviously doesn't build more refurbs when demand is high.
