On the home Springboard, if you flick down, it scrolls down to all your apps. Even the FieldTest! I do not like this scrolling. Is there any way to disable it? Or will I just have to deal with it and hope for an option in a new version?

if you don't want to see them put them in your hidden section using rsbt and dock.

You can also use "skip last row" in your summerboard settings to make the last row disappear so it looks like there is nothing under the dock, but you can still scroll down to view it.

I think me means to make the dock not moveable at all. If so, I have the same problem, I hid all of my apps except for 12 and use dock and finder to get to them. The scrolling still scrolls and I would love to get it to stop since I dont need it.

Hi there,

I too, do not like the scrolling. Has a fix been found? What we mean is that we do not like the springboard to scroll. I prefer the zooming in/out effect too. :)

If you upgrade to the 1.1.1 version, the hack for springboard doesn't have ANY scrolling unless you add more than 12 programs. When you do, it shows up as a second PAGE of icons to the right of the main page. Then it does scroll, but to the left and right, like switching between the Weather locations.

The original purpose of SummerBoard was to add scrolling, if you dont like it then dont use it. Spend more time bitching about Apple's lack of support for native app development and less time complaing about the purpose of an application.

thats awesome! I hope the unlock for 1.1.1comes out soon or sn option for horizontal scrolling becomes available. :)

I'm pretty sure the hack will be done. On the touch's it has an option to do side scrolling, so you can flick from one page to the other horizontally, just like the weather app.

I'm just a touch user browsing the iphone forums. We finally got the hack and I'm just for info on programs and what not.
