no search bar in contacts

Hi all,

I got this weird problem... can't figure it out... (probably something so stupid that I am missing a setting)...

Anyhow:

When I go into Phone, contacts shows up, BUT without the "search bar"... it is so annoying, since I manually have to search for #, versus typing in the search bar...

Anyhow have this similar problem? Know how to resolve it?

Do you have the small magnifying glass above the "A" on the right hand side of contacts?

Do you have the latest software for your phone?

Scroll to the very top and you'll see it. It doesn't freeze at the top like it should.

this is going to sound weird, but no magnify glass and no search bar when i scroll all the way to the top... Yes i got latest software update... weird huh?

Wanna here something even more funny.... I tried on a friend's iphone and it is there... I guess i may have a defect iphone... how wonderful.....

I probably should contact apple and let them know of this "wonderful" bug I found... lol...
