I’m curious if anyone else has this issue where they get “no service” and no signal strength bars listed when trying to connect to their iPhone’s hotspot. However the connection works. This only began happening for me using an iPhone 13 Pro on iOS 15 (it worked normally on an iPhone 11 and iOS 14).

I get the same thing, I found your post while searching for the issue. New iPhone 13 Pro Max (iOS 15) and a 2018 MacBook Pro running Catalina. Phone is connected to good strength 5G and hotspot/internet works fine on Mac when connected but the wifi dropdown menu on my Mac says "No Service" next to the connection and a battery level indicator next to it. The battery shows near full in the menu but looking at the phone it's about 50% charged so I don't think that works either. I'm posting this from the Mac connected to the "No Service" hotspot.. :D
