I recommend you get rid of the iPad baseband.
Based on another question you posted, I believe your understanding of jailbreaking, unlocking, restoring and modifying iPhones is very limited.

You will be better off if you begin just reading thru the threads here to gain some understanding of how these things work.

To downgrade from the iPad baseband, read this blog post --> http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/26534086824/baseband-freedom

iClarified has a tutorial.

Once done, you will need to read up on procedure to do a NO BB restore to current firmware, then read up on use of Ultrasn0w (including proper install procedure).

i read the post blog but i did not get the answer, there were only question

can u explain the porcess how to remove the "no service"

I had the same problem on my iP5 with 6.1.2 and JB'en with evasi0n 1.4

For some weird reason, I kept getting 'No Service' and when checked (Settings- General) cellular was off!!!

This happened twice, and today even after manually turning Cellular to ON, rebooting, soft resetting, resetting network settings..... I kept getting No Service ( Sprint)

Finally, had to restore and keep it stock :(

JB apps I had installed:

SBSettings
My Wi 6
Cascade
Barrel
Infinifolders
Infinidock
Auxo
Springtomize 2
iFile
Nonewsisgoodnews
Wifi booster
Activator
F.lux
Unlimtones
Protube 2
3G Unrestrictor
Bytafont
Zepplin
Color Keyboard
Intelliscreen X6
Battery doctor pro

Had no issues being JB'en on 6.1 , but 6.1.2 isn't playing nice with my iP5 :(

I have already done the jail break through Redsn0w

What is the difference between Redsn0w and sn0w breeze

can somebody help me on this even after downgrading the BB it is still showing as NO Service

Your problem is battery doctor pro. That app does not work. it has issues with removing your IP address and cell network stuff. Even after you remove the app the problem will stay you have to restore and rejailbreak

Yea, I restored to new... but couldn't resist the JB :p

Haven't installed Battery Doctor Pro...and after reading your post, won't touch it !!

So far, so good.

Thanks for the intel! :D

After downgrading the baseband you have to be jailbroken and install ultrasn0w.

Is yours an old 3gs or the newer version? Because if it is the newest version you might have damaged it behind repair. To check you need to see your serial number.

What is your current baseband at the moment?
Check and see if your 3GS is the older or newer one

Just so I stay clear of it, just what is this battery doctor pro people have been mentioning? I can't find it in cydia at all. Is it the same as batterydetective?

You have to type the whole thing out in cydia and hit the search button, it comes up in Chinese or something like that. It has a bunch of stuff, its kinda like a sprigtomize app, but for battery and has a built in ncsettings type thing. It will kill apps in the background and it optimizes settings such as brightness an wifi and stuff like that. But it some reason when you switch some settings it messes us your cellular stuff.
