Hey guys has anyone been seeing no service when you leave a WIFI area? I have to turn on airplane mode and turn it off for it to recapture the signal

Could be a hardware issue. Try contacting Apple and running a remote diagnostic. The fact that it's happening on 2 iOS versions may be the indicator of a hardware issue.

For me in the sf bay, at least where I live I have a weak signal in my apartment and low lte for a block near where I live and when I leave I always have to do the same. Has been the case on t-mobile and Verizon since iPhone 5s and has been consistent with each new os and device. Currently on 10.3.1 with 7+
