its saying no service in the top right and when ever i call from another phone it doesn't even go to my voice mail.

You mean top left correct?

Anyway, a few things you could consider:

-turn on, turn off the phone
-borrow friends phone that has the same service provider as you and see if they are having similar problems
-try connecting to itunes and updating to 2.2 if you haven't already
-connect to itunes and do a clean restore of the iphone
-contact your service provider and see if they can help
-lastly, take to apple

were ru located...happened to me for about 20 mins earlier today while my phone was sitting right next an att bberry?
