"No Service"

I have the 3G iPhone with a sim unlock and since last night it has not had any service. It has said "No Service" or it has the 5 lines where the bars are supposed to be but they are just flat. I always get service where i am at and its weird it just started doing this.

Any suggestions? Thanks

What firmware are you running? If you updated to stock 2.2 your sim unlock won't work anymore.

Do you have another phone to test your SIM in, just to insure your SIM didn't go bad?

Yeah my sim works fine in another phone. I did not update to 2.1

The sim unlocking card have reliability issues, it might be that it simply stopped working. You may need to get another one. I am using a gevey 3g card in my iPhone and it has worked fine for the most part. I would suggest doing a power cycle like the other poster said.

Power cycle is letting the phone run out of battery correct?

I think they meant just turn it off and turn it back on so. That should make it reconnect to the network,

That hasnt worked either ive been trying that.
